Our Company
We are located in the lush green rolling hills of southeast Alabama. We began as a partnership in 1978 with Mr. Terry Bishop and Mr. Bobby Bennett as co-owners. By the next year, Mr. Bennett found that his responsibilities with his own family bank business were becoming increasingly more demanding, so he sold his part of the business to Terry and Susan Bishop.  "Sweetwater" was chosen as our company's name because our farm, which has been in Susan's family since the mid-1800's, has an ever-flowing natural spring. Therefore our farm is named Sweetwater Spring Farm.
